Why Isn't Oprah Inviting Sarah Palin on Her Show?

Talk is Oprah Winfrey won't put Sarah Palin on her show. She made herself clear on Drudge.

"The item in today's Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."
So, it's because "I will not use my show as a platform for any candidate." Wasn't Barack Obama on her show two times? Oh but, that was before he announced his candidacy. That doesn't count.

"Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on," an insider explains. "Oprah's website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama."
Wondering if it was worth it for Oprah to publicly endorse Democratic candidate Barack Obama.

McCain threw a curve ball by picking Sarah Palin. And Palin hit a home run with her speech.
Seems ol' Opie be in a world o' trouble now. Well okay, maybe not. Although talk is, it doesn't look so good right now. But she's clever girl. She'll find a way out and come out looking great no matter what.
On her message board:
..."Oprah and The View are completely disrespectful to women. I won't watch either show again. We do have a voice by turning Oprah off."
..."Oprah, shame on you! Put Palin on."
Course, then there's always the Koombaya crowd.....
... "Still sending Love and Light to Oprah"
