September 11, 2001 was the day our freedom came under attack. The day I will never forget. The day my life literally changed forever. That Tuesday morning at 8:45 a.m. the most heinous act of evil attacked our country and murdered more than 3,000 innocent men and women. Brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers. It was the most barbaric act of insanity.

America is a nation full of good fortune, with so much to be grateful for. But we are not spared from suffering. In every generation, the world has produced enemies of human freedom. Thank you for your choice of pics. I know the one of the man falling from the tower is emblazoned on the world's consciousness, and is an icon, but it's still representative of a family's personal pain, and I applaud you for not choosing it. Yours are equally heartbreaking.
