Same Time Next Year may not be a 'classic' but it's one of the best ever...if you want to laugh, cry and just say..aww. This was made in 1978 so the making of this film may be more simple times. The movie takes place in 1951 with a married man and a married woman who begin a relationship, meeting once every five years for a weekend in this little cottage off the California peninsula as they share stories of their personal lives, their crisis, their children, Doris' husband and George's wife, having an affair for more than 20 years.
