The Big Apple’s Health Department is under fire for using tax dollars to publish a guide for addicts instructing them on the proper methods for shooting up. Some have called the $32,000 booklet “Heroin for Dummies.”
The booklet offers helpful advice such as:
- Find the vein before you try to inject. Tie off to make your veins visible.
– Shoot correctly to avoid infection and collapsed veins.
– If you don’t “register,” pull out and try again.
