Howard Dean Defends VJ

According to Howard Dean, Van Jones is a Yale educated lawyer, smart as a doorknob, yet, he didn't know that he was signing the Truther's Petition? Can someone s'plain the logic of this to me like a two year old, please? Is he for real? I thinks so.

Smart as bait.

Let Me Be Clear A**holes. It's The Company You Keep

Via Ronald Kessler:

The Obama White House is blaming inadequate vettting for the misguided appointment of environmental adviser Van Jones. But while the White House undoubtedly missed some of Jones’ repugnant statements, it would be hard to imagine hiring anyone who has been in public life without knowing his reputation.

Moreover, Jones’ statements are tame compared with those of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., whom Obama considered a mentor for 20 years.

Jones, who became an adviser to the White House Council on Environmental Quality in March, resigned late Saturday after generating mounting criticism during the past week. Known by the unofficial title of Green Jobs Czar, he issued apologies for calling Republicans a**holes during a videotaped address in February and for signing a petition in 2004 supporting the “9/11 truther” movement, which intimates that the Bush administration may have been involved in the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks.

During the 1990s, Jones described himself as a Communist and worked with a group dedicated to Marxist and Leninist philosophies. He has blamed “white polluters and white environmentalists” for “steering poison” to minority communities. In 2005, he drew a distinction between white and black youths involved in shooting incidents by referencing the 1999 Columbine High School massacre.

“You’ve never seen a Columbine done by a black child. Never,” Jones said. “They always say, ‘We can’t believe it happened here. We can’t believe it’s these suburban white kids.’ It’s only them!” he said. “Now, a black kid might shoot another black kid. He’s not going to shoot up the whole school.”

On Saturday, Jones’ advocacy on behalf of death-row inmate Mumia Abu-Jamal, who was convicted of fatally shooting a Philadelphia police officer in 1981, added to Republican calls for his resignation.

To be appointed to a White House job, candidates are screened by the Secret Service for arrest records and outstanding arrest warrants. The FBI verifies an applicant’s background and checks on whether he has ever been a member of a terrorist group, for example. But none of these reviews addresses political statements, which White House staff should check.

Valerie Jarrett, one of Obama’s closest advisers, has acknowledged recruiting Jones. To suggest that Jarrett and others in the White House who recommended him did not know how incendiary Jones’ publicly expressed views were is as disingenuous as Obama’s claim that—despite sitting in his pews for 20 years—he was not aware of Rev. Wright’s views.

Wright, whom Obama described as being like an uncle to him, blamed America and whites for starting the AIDS virus to kill off blacks, training professional killers, importing drugs, and creating a racist society to oppress blacks.

“The government gives them drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law, and then wants to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, not ‘God Bless America’ — God damn America,” Wright has said.

Saying he “epitomized greatness,” Wright gave an award to Louis Farrakhan Jr. for lifetime achievement.

As outlined in the Newsmax story “Obama Plays the Race Card,” the president showed that he is indeed Wright’s student when he sided with Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. against Cambridge, Mass., police officers who were doing their duty as they checked into a report of intruders and encountered an obstreperous Gates.

As portrayed in my book “In the President’s Secret Service: Behind the Scenes with Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect,” Obama is a genuinely decent man who treats Secret Service agents with respect and consideration. But it is naive to suggest that the appointment of Van Jones was a slip-up.

In Jones, the White House got what it wanted. Americans who don’t understand that are in denial about just how radical President Obama really is.

This Is Good

Too good not to share. He's said the things I think everyday.

[W]hen a person—president or otherwise—spurns our desires and he and his top advisors wildly misspend our money, mitigate our liberties, urinate on our values, and call us a**holes, Nazis, terrorists, Astroturf and retards,

well, said person and his pals will not only fail to receive our respect or votes, but they have forfeited the privilege of addressing our kids—or our dogs for matter. -

If you were to receive all your news from any one of these outlets, or even all of them together, and you heard about some sort of controversy involving President Obama's Special Adviser for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, your response would be, "Huh?" If you heard that that adviser, Van Jones, had apologized for a number of remarks and positions in the recent past, your response would be, "What?" And if you were in the Obama White House monitoring the Jones situation, you would be hoping that the news organizations listed above continue to hold the line -- otherwise, Jones, who is quite well thought of in Obama circles, would be history.
What do you suppose had this been the Bush Administration? And their green jobs czar was Van Jones? That's a scary thought.

Special Report Panel Predicts Van Jones Will Be Gone By Monday

Via Real Clear Politics

Via Jake Tapper
In a statement issued Thursday evening Jones said of "the petition that was circulated today, I do not agree with this statement and it certainly does not reflect my views now or ever."

He did not explain how his name came to be on the petition. A source said Jones did not carefully review the language in the petition before agreeing to add his name.

"My work at the Council on Environmental Quality is entirely focused on one goal: building clean energy incentives which create 21st century jobs that improve energy efficiency and use renewable resources," Jones said in his statement tonight.

Jones also said in his statement that "In recent days some in the news media have reported on past statements I made before I joined the administration – some of which were made years ago. If I have offended anyone with statements I made in the past, I apologize."

Communist Green jobs Czar Van Jones Is A Truther

Communist green jobs czar Van Jones is a Truther. He believes the Bush Administration was behind the 9/11 attack.
NEW YORK CITY, NY (Oct. 26, 2004)- An alliance of 100 prominent Americans and 40 family members of those killed on 9/11 today announced the release of the 911 Truth Statement, a call for immediate inquiry into evidence that suggests high-level government officials may have deliberately allowed the September 11th attacks to occur. The Statement supports an August 31st Zogby poll that found nearly 50% of New Yorkers believe the government had foreknowledge and “consciously failed to act,” with 66% wanting a new 9/11 investigation.
#46 on the list of signatures is none other than Barack Obama's communist green czar Van Jones.

Freaky-Deeky Leftist Hollyweird Propaganda (Video)

A school principal has apologized for showing a video at an assembly that a politically conservative group leader is calling "radical, leftist propaganda."
...The video then features celebrities making pledges about how they will help the president and the world -- and that's where some say the problem lies.
..."Showing the video in a public school is completely inappropriate," said Jennifer Cieslewicz, whose daughter is a first-grader at the school. "I don't believe a video such as this that promotes certain values should be shown to elementary students, especially without parents being aware. "

So some of this is good. But a lot of it is just wrong. I want to point out just a few of the things that only confirms my opinion on the stupidity of these Hollywood actors that has me going....hmmm. Seriously, are they stupid or something? One Fruit Loop short of a full bowl? One taco shy of a combo plate? As smart as bait? Dumber than a box of hair? I think so.

I pledge to be a service to *kiss* Barack *kiss* Obama. {wtf?}

I pledge to be a servant to our president. {NO. The president and our government is here to serve the People. We don't serve him}

I pledge allegiance to the folk...to the united folk of funkadelica. {or something}

I pledge to sell my obnoxious car and buy a hybrid. {will a hybrid accommodate the handicapped?}

I pledge to advance stem cell research.

Ben & Jerry: Celebrating Gay Marriage With Hubby Hubby Ice Cream

Ben and Jerry's has changed the name of one of its best-selling ice creams to Hubby Hubby, in celebration of the legalisation of gay marriage in its home state of Vermont.

"From the very beginning of our 30 year history, we have supported equal rights for all people. The legalisation of marriage for gay and lesbian couples in Vermont is certainly a step in the right direction and something worth celebrating with peace, love and plenty of ice cream.”
It contains chocolate-covered peanut butter-filled pretzel nuggets. Yum.

Whitney Houston: She's Back...

....And with a vengeance. I've always liked Whitney Houston. It was ashame when she got involved with Bobby Brown and the fall she took because of it. A fall so hard and so humiliating. Time and again the media would smear her with video's of her so drugged out and looking haggard. I had hoped that she would clean herself up and come back on the music scene with those golden pipes that, in my opinion, can be inspiring. And come back she did with a vengeance.

She appeared on Good Morning America and sang an emotional I Look To You. Her first television appearance in seven years. I'm sure there will be critics who won't be happy with anything about her. It seems there are a few critics who can't be satisfied with any artist, don't know why.

This is the first I heard I Look To You and I have to say, I could relate to every verse she belted out. Been there, done that. Although the road we take through our trials and tribulations are very different with each person. Yet the emotional rollercoaster of addiction is all the same. Addiction can be a son of a bitch and God help you if you can't pull yourself out of it.

The course I'm faced with today is indeed a very different path. It's a test I didn't choose but one that God allowed. But because of my past, I am a stronger person today. And with that I thank God. For my past and for the gift of my disabled child today.
It's interesting to examine the life you've lived, up to this day. What tomorrow will bring.....is promised to no one.

It seems through the support of God and Whitney Houston's mother, gospel singer Cissy Houston, both of whom never left her, she pulled herself out of hell. Good for her. I hope she stays clean.

Obama's Communist Green Czar Van Jones Blames America For 9/11

Via WorldNetDaily

One day after the 9/11 attacks, President Obama's "green jobs czar" led a vigil that expressed solidarity with Arab and Muslim Americans as well as what he called the victims of "U.S. imperialism" around the world.

WND previously reported Van Jones, special adviser for green jobs, enterprise and innovation to the White House Council on Environmental Quality, is an admitted black nationalist and radical communist.

Jones was the leader and founder of a radical group, the communist revolutionary organization Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, or STORM. That group, together with Jones' Elle Baker Center for Human Rights, led a vigil Sept. 12, 2001, at Snow Park in Oakland, Calif.

STORM's official manifesto, titled, "Reclaiming Revolution," has surfaced on the Internet. A WND review of the 97-page treatise found a description of a vigil that Jones' group held Sept. 12, 2001, at Snow Park in Oakland, Calif. The event drew hundreds and articulated an "anti-imperialist" line, according to STORM's own description.

The radical group's manual boasted the 9/11 vigil was held to express solidarity with Arab and Muslim Americans and to mourn the civilians killed in the terrorist attacks "as well as the victims of U.S. imperialism around the world."

"We honored those who lost their lives in the attack and those who would surely lose their lives in subsequent U.S. attacks overseas," STORM's manifesto recalls.

President Barack Obama's Mentor Jeremiah Wright

I wonder if cozy first family Mr. & Mrs. Barack Obama, daughter's Malia and Sasha were in church when Jeremiah Wright preached these sermons.

He swears he wasn't. But after being a member of Jeremiah Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ for more than 20 years, I have to wonder.
Ahhh yes....it must have been inspiring.
