Obama who? Last night's spectacular Democratic convention and Obama's speech, seemed so long ago now. What a difference a day makes.
Wow. So it's been confirmed. The choice for John McCain's running mate will be Sarah Palin, governor of Alaska. This is getting exciting.....finally.
No doubt, we're going to hear alot more of Sarah Palin in the coming weeks. Pros and cons. But what a bombshell this is. I li-i-ike it!
For starters and on a personal level, she has five children, the oldest who enlisted into the army, will be deployed to Iraq next month. The youngest, who was born in April with downs syndrome. Whether a woman is pro choice or pro life, one has to be impressed by the choice Sarah Palin made to keep her child with downs syndrome. She refused to terminate her baby, knowing the possibilities. That alone spoke to me. That is the same choice I made with my daughter. Because of that, I understand. Because of that we have something in common. After listening to her acceptance speech, the Pubs are sure to give the Dems a run for their money.
Although talk will be that she has little experience being in office for only a year and a half, her approval rate in Alaska is 80%.
Sarah Palin is the first female governor of Alaska, a hunter, a fisher, a basketball player, hockey mom, pro-life.

Let the games begin. It's going to be one helluva run.
