Penn and Teller on Being Green

This is some groovy stuff.
Penn and Teller has another point of view on Al Gore and his hype on Global Warming.
I like that Penn ripped into Al Gore referring to him as the "Egregiously Pushy A**hole" (EPA). Be warned: this is strong language.

Melissa Picket is a licensed therapist who calls herself the "Eco Therapist":
Since the green movement has taken off, people like Melissa have been popping up all over the country offering counseling to those who feel guilty for particapting in what they believe is the destruction of the planet.
Melissa, "I am seeing anywhere from 40-60 clients a month where eco anxiety is a definite factor."
And how does she diagnose eco anxiety?
Ms. Picket, "Eco anxiety can range from anything from stomach aches, to headaches, to feelings of just being nervous but not knowing why."
In other words...any bullsh** nervous symptom.

.....And back in Santa Fe our Eco Therapist, Melissa was done diggin' in the dirt and was now ready to shovel some sh**.
Melissa speaking to her support group, "and so I wanted to offer you this gift of a stone to keep with you in your pocket to remind you that you do come from earth."
You're giving them fu***** gravel? Thats not a river rock! It's a driveway rock!
(client)...."I feel grateful cause I know that whatever happens tomorrow there will always be a rock..or sunlight...or a breeze."
(Another client)....I have this connection with rocks. I feel grounded."
(and yet another client)...."I'm feeling kind of relaxed and calm and pretty excited about this rock as well.

Okay, this is definitely a deja vu flashback from the 60's flower child of peace and love and skipping barefoot in the tulip garden. Although it makes it more laughable because there isn't any hallucinogens involved in this lovefest. So there is no excuse, except for the influence of their rock (from the driveway).
