Two left feet

So.....Am I the only one watching Dancing with the Stars?? Well, I have to blame my sister for my addiction to this season's Stars....yes I do.

So here's my take on the celebrities, six men, six women who are competing to be the best at Ballroom dancing. One couple is eliminated every week determined by public votes and 3 judges, combined. Some of the competitors...an Academy Award winner, Tony Award Winner, Olympic Gold Medalist and an NFL "Man of the Year." Oh and btw....the Academy Award winner just happens to have a profound hearing loss. The next level to being profound, is to be deaf. I should know. Daughter #2 has a profound hearing loss. Marlee Matlin is inspiring to say the least.
Gotta tell ya, this is some pretty good stuff....if this is your cup o' tea that is.

Marlee Matlin, Academy Award winner who with a profound hearing loss is able to learn the steps to Ballroom dancing without being able to hear the music, is extraordinary in itself. And she doesn't miss a beat in her step and that alone is amazing.

Kristi Yamaguchi, Olympic Gold Medalist, as far as I'm concerned is going to be the winner. Yup...I betcha a nickle she'll walk away with the trophy.

Steve Guttenberg was great in Cocoon and Three Men and a Baby. But seriously, without a script in his hand, the guy is really annoying. Okay maybe annoying is a bit harsh. I'm sure he's a sweet man in person, but he really does need to stop with those koombaya moments. Poor guy, he just got knocked off the competition last night.

Did you hear what happened to Prescilla Presley's face? Poor girl got all chopped up by a quack plastic surgeon. She was actually good in Naked Gun. I can't say that she's all that great with her dancing. But I have to hand it to her. For her age....she rocks.

Mario, a pop R&B singer. I know nothing of the guy. But being young and an R&B artist....I think you get the picture. In my not-so professional opinion....the guy is pretty darn good!

I had no idea who Adam Carolla was until daughter #1 explained it to me. No matter, he's going to be out next week anyway.
And so it goes....

If there was one dream that I have today....its to be able to dance with the pros. Well, looking at it realistically...thats very possible. Just maybe not on TV with the razzle dazzle and tinsel town hoopla.
Oh well..........Rock on........

Thanks M.
Well....I don't know about dancing on Hollywood Blvd. I do believe that street is saved for the Gays. NOT that I have anything against Gays, Mind you! Just...those parties can get just a little bit too wild for my liking....... :)
