This is really very sad.
British twins who had been separated at birth learned they were related only after they had become husband and wife, a senior British lawmaker said. The marriage has been annulled.
....."They were never told that they were twins," he said during the Dec. 10 debate on a law covering human fertility and embryology. They had been adopted by separate families and "met later in life and felt an inevitable attraction, and the judge had to deal with the consequences of the marriage that they entered into and all the issues of their separation."
But there's something very creepy about it too.

I know there's a lot of old taboos about incest, but seriously...
They could have stayed married, and never told anyone. It wouldn't have mattered.
Still, I think I'd have anulled, too.

Taboos about incest? I don't know much about incest. But is there not the chance of hereditary gene disorders? Not sure
Well, it's illegal too. Which would be a concern if anyone else ever found out. Interesting, it didn't say how they found out...
But yeah, the genetic thing would be a big one. Unless they decided not to have kids in any circumstances.
I thought it very sad as they wereso happy together before they knew.
Thank you Casdok
Yes, it must be very sad to find this out between two that loved each other.
